Soundac PVP is a metal sheet with sandwich anti-drumming designed to reduce vibrations and noise transmission. Soundac PVP consists of two metal sheets with a thin viscoelastic inner layer.
Soundac PVP provides a significant improvement in comparison to a normal metal sheet. The high loss factors make is very well suited for e.g. ceilings, walls and even floor systems.
Description
The system is based on the principal of sandwich anti-drumming with a constrained layer. When the Soundac PVP sheet starts to vibrate the vibrations are converted to a small amount of heat.
